Dedollewaitor (2352), Odense, Denmark Dec 29, 2008 33cl bottle bought at beerplanet, Bruxelles. Pours hazy orange with a creamy egg white head and lacings. Nose is yeast and hops, piney, floral and citrussy. Taste is yeast and hops. Fruity, floral, hoppy and bitter. Medium bodied. Crisp. Ends dry. A fine hoppy Belgium. beerguy101 (3608), Newark, California, USA Dec 27, 2008 Sampled on 12/26/2008. This Belgian ale pours an orange gold color from a 33cl stubby bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with decent retention. The aroma is herbal and grassy, with hints of pineapple and pepper. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and herbal. A hoppy and somewhat dry Belgian Ale. Very dry and yeasty. Nice carbonation. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. heykevin (1266), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Dec 26, 2008 Gusher, huge head. Nice aromatic yeast and hop (exotic fruit) aroma. Amarillos are apparent. Medium-light bodied. Rindy bitterness, touch of phenols, ditracting plastic, kind of takes over. I completely agree with Kinz -- smells great, but that plastic-y note is just really distracting. Kinz (1976), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA Dec 20, 2008 Pale orange, light haze, nice head. Aroma was pineapple, white pepper, Belgian yeast, and something faintly phenolic. Flavor is pineapple and bitter orange, quite hoppy, pale malt, Belgian yeast character, and an unfortunate phenolic note that lingers on the finish that is a bit rubbery. Too bad, from the aroma I though I was going to really like this one. mkobes (2065), paramus, New Jersey, USA Dec 19, 2008 On tap at Mugs Ale House for B2B. Deep golden in color with a nice white head that left a nice lacing on the glass. Crisp and hoppy spicy aroma. Citrusy floral notes. Hoppy earthy malty flavor. Caramel notes. Dry tasting. Medium bodied. Finish is bitter. Very nice beer. Very drinkable.
