Coming Up on BeerTV Most weeks there are absolutely no programs on TV about beer, but recently it seems that a new show is always just around the bend. It wasn’t 5 hours after I wrote my last BeerTV guide that several more programs popped up on the schedule. So here it is again, a listing of those beer-related programs that are coming up soon. This week, it looks like Food Network has a monopoly. (Please note that programming guides can and do change without notice. Whose palate will reign supreme? Air times: Oct. 4th @ 7:00pm, Oct. 4th @ 11:00pm, Oct. 11th @ 7:00pm, and Oct. 11th @ 11:00pm. <br clear=all> <img src=images/features/gabf.jpg align=right>Food Network is airing a <a hrefhttp://www.foodtv.com/food/show_sp/episode/0,1976,FOOD_9994_23 992,00.html>60-minute special on the <a hrefhttp://www.beertown.org/events/gabf/index.htm>Great American Beer Festival, held annually in Denver, Colorado. The special follows 3 brewers as they travel to Denver to put their beer against the best in hopes of winning a gold medal. Tune in to celebrate all things ale! Air times: Oct. 5th @ 8:00pm, Oct. 6th @ 12:00am, Oct. 11th @ 3:00pm, and Oct. 12th @ 4:00pm. <br clear=all> <img src=images/features/oktoberfest.jpg align=left>Food Network is airing yet another beer-related special, this time revolving around the Oktoberfest season. Check out <a hrefhttp://www.foodtv.com/food/show_sp/episode/0,1976,FOOD_9994_23 993,00.html>Planet Food: Germany as Merilees Parker takes a tour of Germany, the land of beer. She hangs out at the world-famous Munich Oktoberfest, tastes German sausages, Black Forest Cake, the authentic schnitzel and the classic Bavarian pretzel.
