MOVING YOUR HOMEBREW

Ok, so you might be like me & you've bought a new house. Good for you! Now, you've thought about moving your furniture, your appliances, and even your pets. Now...what about your precious homebrew? If you keg your homebrew, like a lot of people do nowadays, just pick up your kegs, make sure they stand upright through the trip, and you're all set. Make sure they can't tip over, or you might have a major problem on your hands. <P>Ok, maybe you don't keg your homebrews...Now what? If it's bottled, and you were smart enough to save the original cases your empty bottles came in, you're all set once again. Simply pack your beers in the original cases, making sure to tape the boxes well. If you didn't save your original boxes, it's a little more difficult, but still do-able. In this case, wrap each bottle with newspaper, and pack in a sturdy box, with the bottles upright. Pack each box well, and you shouldn't have any problems. <P>I just moved over 60 gallons of homebrew using these methods, and I didn't lose a single beer.
