tomthompson89 (997), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 6, 2008 Had at Smokeless Joes, Amber color decent foam, nose is weak some malt. Flavor i get is malt some alcohol and a decent hop finish. quite nice actually Radek Kliber (3080), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 5, 2008 Bottle at Smokeless Joe 500 ml
Appearance: Pours as clean, darker shade of amber with premium, thick tanned top. Nose : Fresh, soft hop character , light fruit side with twig , sweet malts add aromas balance. Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied ale , top clean bitter British hops , light brown with some earthy side. Alcohol strong was well build into formula. Sadly midlle of palate was a bit flat. Dough malt with hint of rye paired with bitter hop coat of alcohol.
Sammy (2775), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 2, 2008 A good UK beer representative. The aroma contains the malt and the hops and it is acceptable. Very drinkable, clean and refreshing lovely biitterness. At Smokeless. spikester (246), Salem, Oregon, USA Apr 29, 2008 Updated: May 6, 2008Pours dark brown with big off-white head. Lots of lacings.
Molasses, dry bitter hops, good mouthfeel.
Overall a good low carbonation British Ale.
Blom (559), Odense, Denmark Mar 31, 2008 Reddish brown with a dense and beautiful head. Bitter berry-like aroma and explosive flavours of nuts, chocoalte, caramel, toffee, black currants and cherries. Nice bitter ending and overall a lovely strong ale.
