markwise (195), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 4, 2008 This is a great beer, I don’t know why I like it so much, but I could drink a whole six pack. It is very light for a Belgian Style Ale. Rather weak on the aroma, somewhat bready with butter and some honey. The word that keeps coming to my mind with this beer is buttery. csbosox (917), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Jul 3, 2008 12oz bottle. NB snifter. Aroma of light fruit (bosc pear), pepper. vanilla, yeast, with subtle, lightly kilned malt. Aroma is reddish copper with a smallish bone white head and active carbonation. Taste is light malt, mild spice, subtle earthy hops, maybe a little vanilla? The aroma makes some promises that the flavor doesn’t seem to deliver on. Carbonation is pretty forward. All that being said, this is an OK Belgian style beer. kiefdog (270), Tampa, Florida, USA Jul 3, 2008 12oz bottle courtesy of markwise. Pours a clear amber color with one finger white-tan head. Aroma is wheat, straw, ripe citrus, banana. Flavor is apricot, faint strange citrus-tang, malt. Reminds me of an IPA. Light to medium-bodied with a slight bitter finish. checkmatei1 (198), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 3, 2008 Bottle: Poured an amber color with a nice amount of head. The aroma was sweet and fruity. The flavor was malty, yeasty, and somewhat lacking in flavor. Overall, just an OK beer...I was expecting more. moelikebeer (72), New Brighton, Minnesota, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle. Clear, golden-amber pour with a medium size head that dissipates quickly. Sweet aroma of esters and banana. Similar flavor with sweet malt and belgian yeast. Lot of carbonation.
