Ober (115), Best, Netherlands May 7, 2008 A clear amber colored bear, with a nice beige head. An aroma of caramel, pineapple and nice hoppy. The taste is slightly sweet, with peach, malt and hop. It has a medium bitter and dry after taste. Not bad at all. emerica56 (402), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA May 6, 2008 Pours a amber color with a thin head that fades kind of quick and leaves some laceing but nothing impressive. the nose is malty and you can smell the bitter hops. the flaovr is nice and bitter with rich caramel malt and pale malt. The finish is very bland but still refreshing for a pale ale. You can taste the bitter hops only when the beer is on the palate, after it slides down your throat you lose all the bitter flavors. Crafty07 (286), Lexington, Kentucky, USA May 5, 2008 Hoppy American Pale with signifigant bitterness but not as memorable as it makes out FishManLA (84), Louisiana, USA May 5, 2008 Clear amber color with a small but somewhat persistent head and nice lacing. Nose of malts with some grassyness. Taste is OK, but it has a rather up-front sourness that’s just plain sour, without being terribly interesting. It’s sort of like the beer contains lemon juice. Subtle short-lived hoppy finish. This is certainly better than almost anything a giant macro puts out, but it’s below average for an American craft brewed pale ale. zappafan99 (59), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA May 4, 2008 This pale ale has a sour malt with hops flavor. The hops has a fruity-soap taste. It was aber with an average head. Won’t purchase again, the competion is better at the same price.
