nearbeer (914), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA May 8, 2008 12 oz. Clear, orange-copper with a thick creamy head that lasts forever. Aroma of earthy honey, orange, and slight resin. Flavor is a complex mixture of tea leaf, sweet orange, resin, earthy nut and cocoa, dried wood and green herbs. Light-medium body is soft, smooth, slightly dry, and highly drinkable. Vastly underrated and a shame it’s retired. mhelgason (343), North Carolina, USA May 6, 2008 bottle. small tan fizzy head (quickly and almost fully dissapating) head into murky bronze body. pretty decent lacing. aroma is moderate citrus hops and moderate caramel...something else there that I can’t decipher. flavor is bitter throughout. flat carbonation. long finish duration. dry texture. not a bad IPA. As I recall, this was a pretty good IPA. el_caballo (81), Beverly Hills, California, USA May 4, 2008 Some citrus flavor dominates this with a little pine in there...not bad, did not find the hops super strong...did not love this beer but it was fine gunnfryd (2448), Kristiansand, Norway May 1, 2008 Bottle. 4,7 ABV.
