mbgrayson (34), Anaconda, Montana, USA Jul 5, 2008 Pours with small head, and has a clear amber/dark copper color. Smooth but not quite the right flavor. A compex aftertaste that I am still getting used to. Would drink again but it is not my favorite amber.
12 oz bottle availbale in Montana. Guinness4Duff (384), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jun 26, 2008 Bottle. Deep amber pour with an off white head. Sweet mildly roasted aroma with a bit of a floral hop scent. Flavor has some sweetness to it that is nicely balanced by a mild floral. A decent beer. ericandersnavy (69), denton, Texas, USA Jun 23, 2008 bottle thanks to swalden_28. poured copper with a cream colored head. aroma of caramel, malts, and hops. flavor of caramel and slight citrus with a good dry bitterness. overall good time tasting this one. Swalden_28 (469), McKinney, Texas, USA Jun 22, 2008 Bottle, Kegs & Barrels, McKinney, TX.
Pours a clear amber with off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel. Flavor of caramel with faint bitter, also, perhaps some maple? Mouthfeel is kinda on the watery side though, high carbonation. Over all, was pretty good. yayforbeer (582), Orange Park, Florida, USA Jun 19, 2008 Single from Total Wine. Malty aroma . Decent white head. Flavor is smooth and malty, with a subdued hop presence and a light bitterness. This is so drinkable I could slam a six without even thinking about it. There’s nothing spectacular here, just a well balanced amber that you can knock back again and again.
