douglas88 (477), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA May 4, 2008 Bomber purchased in Las Vegas at Lee’s Liquors. Pours a total black with a great creamy light brown head. The aroma is pretty light; some sweet roasted malt. The taste is also dominated by a roasted malt with tons of brown sugar and also some coffee and light milk chocolates. A creamy and full moutfeel. Very enjoyable. pintbypint (829), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada May 2, 2008 12 oz brown bottle. Pours very dark brown, near black but not quite. Some amber highlights. Head is tan and recedes to a ring around the edge of the glass. Has a cocoa-y and chocolatey nose. Flavour is roasty yet sweet with chocolate and coffee. Medium length roasty finish with hop bitterness and some citrus flavours that linger. Medium bodied with presistent carbonation. Very glad to see this in my area as good stouts are rare, let a lone sweet stouts. Lothore (207), California, USA Apr 27, 2008 Black in color, almost no light gets through the mug. Cream colored head which dissapates fairly quickly with very little lacing. Smells of roasted malts, coffee and hints of spiced fruits. The taste starts out with a strong coffee flare followed by a slightly bitter hoppy kick. There is quite a bit of carbonation and it is fairly thick. It is a decently drinkable beer, easy to sip on but 1 bomber seems to be enough. hogan873 (151), Joliet, Illinois, USA Apr 19, 2008 Black as an 8-ball with a thin tan head. Sweet aroma with notes of chocolate, caramel, and malt. Pretty thin palate for a stout. The flavor is very nice. Starts sweet with chocolate and caramel evident. Finishes slightly bitter with an iced coffee and cream aftertaste. A very nice stout. esjaygee (361), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Apr 19, 2008 Brown with thin tan head. Aroma of sweet malts, chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. Flavor of sugar, sweet malts and chocolate. A bit thin and sour with a semi-bitter finish. Eh, so-so.
