BlockBrew (48), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Jul 5, 2008 Just a plain, super cheap malt liquor. Only had it the 40 oz. bottles. I’m sure the smaller bottles would make it more drinkable as you don’t have to stare at this large amount of hay-water mixture. MartiniFiend (45), Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, USA Jun 28, 2008 Never tried it in college but I thought it was time to. Bottle. pours light gold with a medium head.weak grain aroma nothing to the palate. Bland tasting. Better off going old school with a colt 45 or schlitz Heathen (444), Riverside, New Jersey, USA Jun 20, 2008 THOUGHTS: Not much to say. Malt liquor is rarely great and this is no exception. It’s better than a lot of them though. So, above average for a malt liquor but just an average lower beer.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a clear, light to medium yellow with nice carbonation and an average-sized head, white head that kept a nice sheet. The aroma was moderate grain and caramel malt, light glower and grass hops and light vegetable. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and bitter, while the finish was lightly acidic, light to moderately bitter and a little sour with and average duration. The was a little malt and then some hops. The light body was watery with lightly fizzy carbonation and a light to moderate astringent finish. joeymacaroni (24), West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 13, 2008 ok, ok, i’m a big fan of UFC and i was in a local pizza place getting a hoagie on a hot day. the can was cheap, and I thought to myself, well, if its good enough for UFC, it’s worth a shot...so I allowed myself to be a corporate whore for 2 seconds, folded, and bought the can. i’m used to heavy, big beers, and I figured it couldn’t be worse than any of your typical american domestic light lagers. oh, was I wrong. It’s like water and corn. heavy on the metallic side. no bite. leaves you with a sickening feeling. couldn’t finish it, and to me not finishing a beer is heresy. dear god, never again. dalepryor (145), St. Petersburg, Florida, USA Jun 9, 2008 drank from bottle as it should be at an extremely cold temperature, the flavor is just corn no hops to speak of or anything else.
