milwaukeebeer (14), USA May 8, 2008 Germany’s pride and joy, and with good reason. Fruity nose with good lacing. Lovely orangish tint. Lemony with a little yeast and orange on the back-end. Definately one of the best in the world. FriarHop (1), Brooklyn, New York, USA does not count May 8, 2008 Pours hazy yellow, white head; the nose not too prominent. Taste of lemons and wheat, almost no sweetness at all. Average finish. Overall a good, light and very easy to drink wheat beer-but aren’t they all? sliffy (1896), Columbus, Ohio, USA May 7, 2008 Bottle: Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head. Aroma, lemons, yeast, wheat. Flavor, wheat, lemons, a light tartness, bready malts. Good stuff. msante79 (113), Illinois, USA May 4, 2008 Had on tap at Palmers Place in Lagrange, IL a while back. Pours light golden color with a white head. Flavor is light and crisp. Not to bad for a Hefeweizen which is one of my least favorite styles unclemike (157), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA May 3, 2008 4 beer sampler a Old Chicago tCloudy amber with a good quantity of foamy white head. Smells of fruity yeast, citrus and pear. Flavor is very well balanced and rounded with hints of coriander and orange. Aftertaste is somewhat bready and leaves a tartness in your mouth but not bad. Smooth and heavily consistant mouthfeel. A very good Hefe.
