BlockBrew (48), West Lafayette, Indiana, USA Jul 5, 2008 Pale yellow with small white head. Very light and nothing special. Fits with your average macro lagers. MaltDawg (187), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jun 25, 2008 Off the taps at Capital Ale House. Clear light golden with large frothy white head that persists. Huge streams of bubbles rising in the glass. Aroma of pale malts with some earthy/spicey hop notes.
Slightly grainy pale malt flavor with light earthy spicey hops. Finish is clean and moderately dry with some residual hop bitterness. I got a bit of a metalic note in the flavor but it didn’t detract from the beer that much.
maniac (1886), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jun 24, 2008 On tap at Capital Ale House - Downtown on 06/24/08. Very clear pale golden body with a medium frothy white head. Very fizzy body with decent head retention. Very faint grain aroma with a touch of grassy hops. Light grain, faint frassy hops and a dry mildly bitter finish. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation. ansermadide (136), Kyle, Texas, USA Jun 20, 2008 (Sample from March 23, 2007 Beer Club Meeting; 12oz bottle served with chilled mug at Pompeii Italian Grill on June 17, 2008) Pale, golden yellow color with a big, frothy head. Heavy carbonation. Its nose is sweet and musky. Taste is dry and lightly bitter. Average lager, particularly dry and crisp. The only times I find myself drinking this is when I’m at an Italian restaurant... but if I really wanted to stay true to the theme I’d much prefer a nice glass of white wine. Habanero (440), Tranbjerg, Denmark Jun 20, 2008 Bottled, pours pale yellow with a little white head. Weak hop nose. Flavour of light malt and hops. Short bitter finish. Crisp on a warm day, but elsewhere too thin.
