Commercial Description:
A full-bodied English-style Porter, this brew has a substantial roasted malt character. Brewed with traditional English Ale hops and sweetened with Scottish heather honey. The honey balances the spiciness from the hops and the roasted malt character. The beer is finished by dry hopping with English Goldings.

Pours a dark brown with a slight cream colored head. Nose is a low hop, high malt with a definite sweetness. Mouthfeel is initially sweet malt with a touch of bitterness . . . medium carbonation. Could be slightly more malty, but it goes down smoothly with a slight hop aftertaste from the dry hopping. Overall . . . Not bad.

Absolutely horrrible. Pours a deep brown color. Very low viscosity, thick head. Aroma is a little funky. As soon as it hit my lips i was hit with what seemed like a thousand pounds of alcohol and honey. Do not buy, under any circumstances. A definite drain pour.

Bottle. Poured a deep dark brown body with thin head. Aroma is a n ice mix of roast and hops. Flavor is a light roast, caramel and sweet honey mix. Light hoppiness noted and a tad too sweet for my Porter likings.

this is a pretty good porter, lots of honey flavor, and pretty light body. This is a good brew, i’ve had it many times and will probably have it many more.

Pours a very rich brown with nice brown head. Sweetly roasted bready malts with a bit of smoke. Flavor is a bit smoky with caramel, honey and malt. Pretty basic.
