PhatB420 (25), Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA May 2, 2008 Nice rockin IPA from Maine, cant go wrong there. The taste is subjectively pleasing with a well crafted after taste that creates a enjoyable experience. These taste better at the State Theater, but Ill have one anyday. Ive yet to have a bad ipa from the great state of Maine. natejgood (127), Denver, Colorado, USA Apr 26, 2008 Pours a medium brown with a light white head. The beer is somewhat hazy and has a ton of bubbles racing toward the top of the glass. It is darker in color than most IPAs. The beer smells hoppy and somewhat bitter. The beer is nicely hopped with a bit of a roasty aftertaste. It is relatively crisp and refreshing. Aroma of citrus fruits, light pine, floral hops, perhaps a bit of skunk and herb as well. Taste of citrus, pine, grapefruit, light toffee sweetness, and a dry finish. Unfiltered shendrix (393), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Nov 27, 2007 A better than average IPA, with a nose of pine and lemon, and a palate of pine, grass, and citrus. Many IPA are overwhelming in their hoppiness, but this one hits a nice balance between the bitters and the less harsh aspects of the brew, for a very drinkable final product.
