Had this beer on 5/8/2000. Aroma is a light crisp hop scent. Color is a rich brown with good carbonation and head. Taste is light crisp and clean. Starting with a light body that goes down easy with a very light crisp feel. Finish is light all the way around with the strongest point being the bitterness. It’s a nice beer to drink but its nothing special.

Bottle. Didn’t know it was retired, still at the grocery store here. For being so cheap it has a decent malty character, I used to think it was good which is why I tried it again with a more experienced palate. It is overly sweet to me now. It may be too far aged.

Definitely a cheapy, but much better than your run of the mill macrobrews. If I was on a budget this is the beer I would buy.

Orange amber color with a small white head. Taste is a blend of malts, caramel, hops, and sugary. The downfall of this beer may be the heavy presence of sweetness. Finish is not as clean as an amber should be.
