12 oz bottle, sampled 4/24/08. Pale straw yellow colour with a fully diminishing fizzy white head. Faint grainy aroma. Faint grainy flavour. Light bodied, dry and fizzy. Any less character and it would be like drinking a glass of air.

Draft. very clear. No head. A very stripped down beer. Lacking a true personality.

If you must drink a low carb beer, drink water instead. Its cheaper and if you link carbonation add a little bit of club soda. Most importantly add the smallest drop of yellow food coloring possible to duplicate the color. This beer poured a very light yellow with about a 1 inch white head that went down to nothing fairly quickly. There was not much aroma at all. The only thing good was a fair amount of carbonation, which led to a crisp initial taste that faded away quickly. There was a hint of a little bitterness, but nothing that lasted there either. This makes you appreciate beer.

Nothing special about this one (should I have thought differently?). Pale golden color. Watered down AB aroma. Taste is pretty much the same. One less beer to rate.

Draft: Sour corn aroma. Clear yellow, thin head, minimal lacing. Awful taste of cardboardy seltzer. Stale rice finish. This is almost a wasted rating, but I do enjoy going slumming from time to time. I hope the sewer rats enjoy this more than I did.

Bottle. A very pale yellow pour with a thin fizzy white head , no lacing. Aroma of light sweet corn , faint grain and very littlke else . Flavor is very light , some light malt , raw grain and carbonated water . No hop flavor at all , no bitterness, prickly mouthfeel from too much carbonation , light body , no aftertaste . Drinkable but not very good , nothing offensive , just not at all what I look for in a beer like aroma and flavor .

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Pale yellow with a small, fizzy, white head. No head retention at all. Aroma: Very light nose with notes of corn. Pretty poor. Taste: Like water. This one really lacks anything. Slight grain notes paired with an odd back bitterness. Palate: Medium-high carbonation (which doesn’t help things) and a light, watery mouthfeel. Short finish. Overall: I would rather just drink water because this really isn’t a beer. It is however the best of the ultralights, which isn’t saying much.

This beer is smooth enough to carry the Michelob name? Well, it is smooth, I guess.
