thenick (510), North Bellmore, New York, USA Jul 24, 2008 Bomber, shared. Pours a wonderful golden/amber with a huge and lacy white head. Aroma is floral hops with noticeable caramel and citrus characteristics as well. Taste is very interesting, with hops up front and in the back that are balanced by citrus, floral, and spicy/pepper notes. Finish is dry and hoppy, but the beer remains seductively smooth throughout. I’m growing to love AleSmith with every beer of theirs I try - what a wonderful IIPA. monkeygirl (4), Olathe, Kansas, USA does not count Jul 17, 2008 2008 bomber. Amber gold with towering off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is hop, grapefuit, floral, alcohol, and slight caramel. I really enjoy the floral! Slightly creamy palate with a bitter and dry finish. Flavor is very hoppy, floral, grapefruit, light caramel, and very light pepper. djtimeless (31), USA Jul 16, 2008 Pours out orangish gold color with white head. Taste is nice and hoppy. Citrus and floral notes. Slighlty sweet but still nice bitter finish. A great beer, one of the best of this stlye. bhensonb (2713), Woodland, California, USA Jul 14, 2008 Bomber from South Bay Drug. Amber gold color with a decent off-white head. Lots of resin and floral/grapefruit hop backed by a dose of malty sweetness. Medium body with near creamy carbonation. Flavor is hop - mostly grapefruit over malty sugar. Finish is bitter and dry, but there’s enough backbone to make this a really enjoyable drink. Quenching? Kind of. Refreshing? Yep. DenverLogan (420), Oceanside, California, USA Jul 13, 2008 Orange-copper with small head. Spritzy big hoppy beauty with a nice balance of citrus, caramel, pine. Profile reminds me of some nice Green Flash hoppy brews...beautiful West Cost hop monsters.
