Looks like an oversized espresso in the glass. Deep dark black coffee like appearance with a thin dark khaki head found on only the best Cuban espresso. Some of the head sticks to the glass as I consume this bad boy leaving behind some lacing.
S: Very dark and earthy. Deeply roasted malts, fresh ground Cafe Bustello Cuban Coffee, Bakers Chocolate, and grassy hops.
T: Very nice. If this baby was coffee it would be a double espresso. There are tons of deep earthy flavors in the taste as well. Hershey’s cocoa, espresso, dark charcoal roasted malt and quite possibly the most hops I have ever tasted in a stout. Very Interesting.
M: Medium bodied with a creamy quality about it. reverendj (42), Brunswick, Georgia, USA

Hershey’s special dark chocolate meets roasted chile pepper quenched by a judicious amount of roasty malt. Hops abound in this creamy oily brew. Perfect companion for a wet cold night while listening to Musorgsky or Glinka. bierkoning (6052), La Tropica, Netherlands

Cream, salt, licorice and ash in the aroma. Creamy yet alcoholic, malty flavor with licorice, ash, dried plums, lingering on in the roasty aftertaste. Seems well balanced at first but the alcohol is persisting. 8 4 7 3 14 = 3.6
2004 bottle from Schroppfy. Tasted 12-09. Salt, ash, seaweed and roast in the aroma. Soft creamy, roasty flavor with ash and tobacco. Has thinned and mellowed considerably. Pipe tobacco in the finish. Lovely.

The aroma is of malt giving it a dark roasted coffee flavor and sweet caramel. It has blatant hops which you can taste long after you finish the beer. The finish is long, and the texture is appropriate. RoscoeJackson (35), Michigan, USA

Flavors are similar with roasted coffee beans and sweet malts. Mildy hoppy and bitter. Full and heavily roasted on the palate. The alcohol is hidden amazingly well for an imperial. Drinkability: Delicious and set apart from the others, eh hem... Guiness. Rebuy: Yes. #240 on 06122009, DG. finol (504), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden

Pours black with some brown head.
In my oppinion this beer is way to hoppy for an imperial stout. hirigalzkar (578), Stockholm, Sweden
