Sep 23, 2008 2006 12oz Twist-off. Thanks Sean! Rather vibrant cocoa nib chocolate nose. Bits of dutch liqeur, Irish Creme, and Smores. A bit saccarhin, dusty and reduced, but decent. Pours a mid-brown, chesnut cloud, with a fast fading creamy tan head. Flavor reminds me of alcohol prepackaged hot chocolate, done cold. Liquor-like. This tastes a lot like someone added a bunch of sugar and chocolate liqeur to Seltzer water. I appreciate the carbonation level, but the flavor is a little brash. Wheat lager? I might be able to pick up a touch of that, but I don’t know. Okay, so actually this isn’t terrible. It has flavor, isn’t overly sweet or weird. I can dig that. Probably the best beer I’ll ever have from Miller.

Jul 8, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head that lacks retention. Nose is like diving into a chocolate syrup. Smells very sweet and delicious. Very chocolate flavor. This almost doesn’t even taste like beer. Very good though. This is the type of beer that can get people into trouble. The body is a little lacking, just a little too thin for me. Overall, this beer is a nice little treat that if got or get a chance to have, you should check it out. My bottle was aged one year and stood the test of time just fine (proper handling permitting).

Jun 8, 2008 Brown with a tan head. Aroma of cocoa and sweet malts. Taste is overpowered by the cocoa and isn’t balanced out very well. Subtle notes of coffee exist but it’s just a bit too sweet for me.

Apr 24, 2008 Hm...not so sure about this shabby attempt from Miller. Pours a dark brown colour with a medium sized tan head. hint of cocoa aroma and chocolate milk. roasted malt flavors and maybe some coffee. Still undercarbonated and watered down.

Jan 18, 2008 2006 edition bottle. Pours dark brown with a reddish tint and a beige soapy head. Nose reminds me of fake easter chocolate - cadebury cream eggs and those colorful ones that are all malty inside. Watery body. Sweet easter sugars. Chocolate a little grainy. But so much of that sweet fake sugar. My hopes were low, but this actually exceded them. Way to go Fred!
