Aroma is a bit weak at first, but it’s a bit cold. Quite hoppy, mostly citrus, loads of coffee here, roasted malts, some smoke, chocolate. Flavour is big, pretty damn hoppy, well balanced with a good amount of chocolate and roasted malt sweetness. Big, dry, bitter coffee finish with a herbal tinge to it. Feels thick and creamy in the mouth, carbonation is pretty much spot on. Very nice. chrisv10 (373), Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 5, 2009 Black with a lovely creamy brown head. This imperial stout is tasty but very straightforward with a very upfront american hop character, oily roasted flavour and aroma with notes of caramell and a extremely dry and bitter finish. Easy to drink with no sign of the ABV but yeah, a bit too straightforward really. Snegurochka (69), Tromsø, Norway

Tan head. Chocolate leaps out of the glass with some good hop character as well. Dark roasted espresso tones give this one a great nose and even better flavor. The richness of the beer is offset by a nice bitter finish. Damn good. I am very glad I got to try this one. Cheers! Borup (1360), Albertslund, Denmark
