Commercial Description:
Imperial Stout is a deep black beer with a chocolatecoloured huge head. Has a powerful aroma and flavour of as well the roasted malts and the huge amounts of hops. While brewing the american hops Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo and Cascade are used. The beer is dryhopped with loads of Cascade. The most black beer Raasted has yet had on the program.

Bottle. Pours black, with a finger of creamy brown head. Nice. Aroma is a bit weak at first, but it’s a bit cold. Quite hoppy, mostly citrus, loads of coffee here, roasted malts, some smoke, chocolate. Flavour is big, pretty damn hoppy, well balanced with a good amount of chocolate and roasted malt sweetness. Big, dry, bitter coffee finish with a herbal tinge to it. Feels thick and creamy in the mouth, carbonation is pretty much spot on. Very nice.

Black with a lovely creamy brown head. This imperial stout is tasty but very straightforward with a very upfront american hop character, oily roasted flavour and aroma with notes of caramell and a extremely dry and bitter finish. Easy to drink with no sign of the ABV but yeah, a bit too straightforward really.

Black body, with brownish head. Aroma of freshly-ground coffee and bread dough, with flavour of anise, liquorice and coal. Full oily body. Perfect for chilly autumn days. Shared at beer session 24.sep.09. Thanks Rune!

glouglouburp with another rare treat, thanks Dany. I really appreciate it. Black pour. Tan head. Chocolate leaps out of the glass with some good hop character as well. Dark roasted espresso tones give this one a great nose and even better flavor. The richness of the beer is offset by a nice bitter finish. Damn good. I am very glad I got to try this one. Cheers!
