Hophead22 (34), Redlands, California, USA Jul 3, 2008 Ooops, had this rating under the regular Angels share, D’oh. Still good. 750Bottle. Huge beer. Had it right after I had 120min IPA and it had a much stronger flavor and aroma. Very heavy, dark and sweet. I enjoyed it thoroughly, although it was a bit much for my drinking companions. Super glad I able to get my hands on some, thanks Ben. Dough77 (711), Aurora, Illinois, USA Jul 3, 2008 Wow this girl is really coming along nicely. First couple were a bit harsh, but smooth and tasty now. Great bourbon kick to a nice tasting barleywine. Burnt wood smokey sweetness, vanilla all compounded into this little 375 vessel of liquid delicousness. Immy (1470), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Jul 3, 2008 C&C 375ml bottle. Thanks to kmweaver for sharing! Deep brown with a huge beige head. Sweet, malty bourbony nose, woody and raisiny. Flavor mirrors the nose. The bourbon really works here, enhancing the flavor rather than killing it. Nice!
