I guess if you like bloody marys you might like this. Not me. Looks like a menustrating bud light. And that’s also how it smells and tasted. I need negative integers to properly score this.

Aroma of Clamato... very little beer. Appearance: very interesting-LOOKING beer... but that’s not the point, is it? Looks like a brilliant grapefruit juice. Taste: Tastes mostly of tomato... shellfish is understated. Palate: You can tell that it’s a beer, but you can mostly tell that there’s clam broth in here. Sticky, slimy after-feel in the mouth. Moderate carbonation considering the slime. Aftertaste is mostly clam, then tomato... beer taste comes in third. Will not buy again except for cooking with. Decent choice for beer-battering other seafood.

Pours a strange, murky orange-peach color with a tall, fizzy pink-peach head that fades really quickly to a thin ring sustained by a very high effervescence. Aroma is salty tomato, light sweet clam/shellfish, and a hint of citrus. Finishes with salt, tomato, citric acid and a peppery heat. Palate is medium to heavy bodied with a viscous feel due to the particulates floating around, pureed tomatoes I guess. All in all I did not enjoy this, but I could see how some people might.

16 oz can. Aroma of red beer/bloody mary--tomato juice, veggies. Looks terrible-- no head, no lacing; looks flat. It’s the color of grapefruit juice almost--a little redder actually. Taste is like a really well-made red beer. Tastes of tomato juice and beer, spices. This is really good stuff, I think. I don’t really give a shit what all the beer snobs think. LIvely carbonation, thick texture--maybe a little thinner than the non-light version. Finishes with a nice tomato flavor.

Good carbonation. Perfect balance of sweet sour and taste. For some reason I am addicted to this beer. I drink it every weekend. Right now it is my favorite beer. Light refreshing and can drink a lot of them. I like the salty flavor with hint of lime.

I actually like tomato/clamato with my beer every once in a while, but this is utterly disgusting. I had 3 large sips and had to throw the rest away. I’ve never been unable to finish a beer due to taste before. The aroma is funky - and the overall taste is just bad. fishy/salty/flat/metallic/rotten egg.

I’m just a senior in college, but I’m old enough to remember Pepsi Kona. I do like V8, and I like beer. I also like tuna sushi and oreos, but I’ll stick to the frosty filling, thank you.
