Pours a pretty Kool-Aid red with a slightly pink head. Smells like a Hall’s sore throat candy with a Fruit Roll-up. Oh, shit. It’s way too tart. The cherry is extremely strong. It’s great, but holy hell, it’s making my stomach rumble. Cavie (1493), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

Thanks man, been lookin forward to this one for quite awhile. Pretty red pour that turns orange towards the edges. Smells of cherry cough syrup. Large fruit and cherry smell. Very potent. Taste has a big cherry taste with a slight tartness towards the front. Has a jolly rancher flavor also. Very fruity and intense. cwsample (10), Texas, USA

The color is a nice dark red with a light pink head. The taste is not so heavy on the cough syrup, but still a bit bitter. obguthr (1065), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 17/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Strong aroma of sour cherries and apples. Murky ochre, thin pink head, some lacing. Fabulously sweet and tart flavor of cherries, no hops or malt detected. Medium body, a bit fuzzy in the back of the throat. Absolutely delicious, but not very complex or beery. yemenmocha (421), Glendale, Arizona, USA

Nose is over the top. Dessert-like in sweetness. You can enjoy the aroma from 4 feet away.
On the palate it is very similar to the usual Kriek counterpart but this one is more cherry-fresh tasting. The cherry component is just more ripe. Very good. Soonah (970), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 11, 2009 Poured murky brown and red with a fizzy, short white head. The aroma was a rush of cherries and lots of sugar. The flavor was straight cherry with sugar with a touch of spice revealing itself as it warmed. Nice, medium bodied mouthfeel. Too one-dimensional. Well made, just not something I would care to drink again. mspindler (351), Alta Loma, California, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Dec 9, 2009 Bottle shared by JoeTheYounger. Pours a cloudy dark red with a pinkish white head. Aroma is like dessert with a load of black cherries and a touch of cinnamon. Something almost between cherry pie and a cherry sucker. Flavor is again dominated by cherries, slightly tart, with a bit of spice. Medium to full bodied with very creamy carbonation and a surprisingly dry finish. Awesome stuff. joeneugs (354), Livermore, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Pours reddish purple/pink with a pink head. The aroma is super fruity with mostly cherries, cranberries and such. The flavor is full on canned cherry pie filling. Sweet and sour with maybe a touch of oak. Very full bodied, almost syrupy. This would go well with certain meals, but I guess I just don’t get this beer. Definitely unique.
