Jul 2, 2008 24 fl oz bottle pour. Pours dark red with creamy off-white head. Head completely diminishes. It’s clear, but not sparkling. Looks flat. Aroma of malt and slight cherry. Flavor very sweet up front with tons of carbonation and acidity then a burst of tart in the middle and finishes slightly bitter. Flat and light mouthfeel.

Jun 8, 2008 Noogfest ’08. The body was medium copper colored. The aroma was cherry cough syrup and a little bit of caramel. The taste was more cherry cough syrup and pancakes. This is about the worst cherry themed beer I have tried.

Jun 4, 2008 A dark reddish appearance with a white head. The aroma is cherry flavored cough syrup. The flavor is like a true fruit lambic. Um NOT! A very medicine like flavor with cherry syrup and a hint of molasses. Bottom line this is like Robitussin not beer. Worse than SA Cherry Wheat. Avoid!!!!

Jun 2, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, cherry-esque body with a thin, wispy, white head.
Smell: Sweetish cherries, though a touch medicinal, with a background of grainy, pale maltiness.
Taste: Sweet dark cherries, like either sparkling cherry juice or, perhaps, a cherry-flavored soda. Some faroff hints of candied caramel malts. No hop flavors or real bitterness present. Again, it’s a bit medicinal, primarily on the finish, like they added a few drops of Robitussin in for good measure.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Fine, though it’d be a good bit better sans medicine. Nice bottle presention I must say, though not one you’d want to accidentally sit on.
