Jul 15, 2008 Updated: Jul 16, 200816oz can, batch #3. English pint glass. Copper/amber color with a dense one fingered cream colored head. Aroma is piney hops, but is very faint (due the head?). Flavor is earthy, floral, and piney hops as well as some light caramel and a strong bitterness (for the style). Not bad, but nothing special. Thanks for the chance to try this Tim.

Jul 14, 2008 can: pours a nice amber orange with a large foamy tan head. aroma is full of citrus, sweet sugars and a little earthy spice. flavour is bitter earth hops upfront with a sweet malt tha contains some spiciness, finishes with some cirus pith bitter.

Jul 11, 2008 I would rate this higher were the consistency better. Have had three 4pks and some were crisp and hoppy and extremely refreshing while a few seemed like they had been sitting around for a long time and starting to flocculate. Word is that an initial batch was awesome and close to an IPA rather than pale ale.
I’ll keep trying and hope they do as well.

Jul 11, 2008 Thanks to KAggie97 for the beer. The can looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass is quite dark, not much foam. Strong and modest alcoholic aroma. Tastes dry and strong, modest malty, a bit old. Scratchy-strong finish. Not bad!
