Commercial Description:

It’s pitch black with a dark brown, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and dark fruits. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, chocolate, licorice, plums, preserved fruits, citrus and a nice, roasted bitter finish – an incredibly nice beer.

Badass black with a small but solid dark brown head. Aroma is fat asphalt malt, sweet with heavy roasted notes of dark chocolate and dark berries. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy and delivers a dense array of dark flavours from roasted coffe beans to dark bitter chocolate, liqourice and sweet dark fruit. Ends very bitter, a bit alcoholic and dry.

Draught. Black with brown head. Salt liquorice, some smoke and citrus? Good port but not fantastic. Too much alcohol really, should be lower.

Black of color with a brown head. An aroma of liqurice, sweets and roasted malt. A flavor of liqurice, sweets and a oily texture.

At the Ølfestival, Esbjerg, Denmark 23-10-09. Pours black with a tan rim of bubbles. This is full on roasty and also very hoppy, the aroma is a little quiet though. Not bad at all good pushy bitterness, soft in the mouth with a nice back up of load of cocoa. A7 A5 F8 P4 Ov16 4.0

Draught at Bishops Arms Järntorget, Göteborg. On Ocotber 19, 2009 - during the porter week.
Pitch black color, small dark brown head. Sweet, raissin, alcohol, malty, grainy scent, also perfumy floral and a lemonish cleaning agent. Very salty, turning to dry alcohol and grainy taste, also roasted. Dry roasted aftertaste. Smooth velvet like mouthfeel. Warming alcohol. Medium dry bitterness.
