Brewed in the northern style of an English ale. This light brown ale has a nice caramel and toasted malt flavor, combined with a fresh hoppy aroma that is slightly fruity. This is nicely complimented by a subtle bitterness that rounds out the palate. [admin note - bottle has 4.8 ABV, website lists 4.5, I went with bottle as that is more commonly seen - theisti]
