From the historic Colonial Inn and Brewery on the site where General Lafayette made his Revolutionary War stand, comes this huge Imperial Stout aged to perfection. Regulars at the Inn know Chris loves to brew high-gravity beers. Malts: Pale, Vienna Amber, Dark and Light Crystal, Chocolate and Roasted Barley. Hops: UK Target, East Kent Goldings (bittering), East Kent Goldings (aroma) and East Kent Goldings and Fuggles(dry hops). Note that different names are used to describe the cask version (the Imperial Stout) and the draft version (Shutout Stout, Grim Reaper), even though they use the same recipe.
