RateBeer.com -- Correct Gritty McDuffs Winter Wheat AleGritty McDuffs Winter Wheat Ale

Description:
Known as a Dunkel Weizen or Dark Wheat in Europe, this ale is darker and slightly stronger than its Summer version. In order for a beer to qualify as a Wheat Beer, at least 20 per cent of the total grains used must be malted wheat, as opposed to barley. At Gritty's we employ a healthy 50/50 ratio of wheat to barley. Select Yakima Galena hop pellets are added with Kent Goldings leaf in the Brew Kettle, imparting a tangy hop finish which is the trademark of this fine Ale!

Brewer: Gritty McDuffs
