RateBeer.com -- Correct 5 Seasons Djokker Wit5 Seasons Djokker Wit

Description:
This 500 year old Belgian style wheat beer became nearly extinct until the late 1970’s when Pierre Celis revived a languishing brewery in Hoegaarden and began brewing Witbier again. Ours is a true Wit, brewed with 50% un-malted wheat then delicately spiced at the end of the boil with dried Curacao Bitter Orange Peel, Sweet Orange Peel and Coriander. A slight lactic sourness is induced in secondary fermentation to balance the Wit’s creaminess and make it a tart, smooth, quenching summer brew.

Brewer: 5 Seasons Brewing Company
Style: Belgian White (Witbier)
Alcohol Content: N/A
Seasonal: No
