This copper colored German-style ale is highly hopped and has a medium body and malty flavor. No hop additions were made during the last 30 minutes of the boil. Norther Brewer and Spalt hops are used along with ample Munich malt for authenticity, although Magnolia's house strain of English ale yeast was still used (albeit fermented at a lower temperature and matured for a longer period).
