Decemeber, 2007 -- Our holiday ale is classified as an old ale. To build this multi-dimensional ale we started with an extensive grain bill including, golden promise, munich, carapils, caramel, and chocolate malts. This equals a big velvety beer with a high starting specific gravity at 1.073. The bittering is balanced just right at 30 IBU’s. The aroma was complemented with raw-flower East Kent Golding hops and a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg.
