The sixth OTOP beer is code named PEGALINA. Many of you who know me or have tried Heavyweight beers know that I love malt and malty beers. But I also enjoy drinking hoppy beers. I love Hopdevil (who doesn't) and DeRanke XX. I've not made one up till now because there are just so many of them out there. Well, this one's for someone near and dear who loves hoppy brews.
Pegalina is made with German malts and British hops. It is fermented with a very boring American ale yeast (just kidding, thanks Gretchen). The beer possesses 50 or so IBUs. Brewer: Heavyweight Brewing Company
