Captain Curry was one of the legendary steamboat captains on Seneca Lake. This London-style copper-colored ale is bitter, as the name suggests, yet well balanced by a rich malt character. Goldings hops from the East Kent region in Britain lend it a soft floral aroma. This brew would have been just the style a steamboat captain would enjoy.
