All American pale malt and American hops were used in this big IPA. The color is a little darker than our St. Peter Pale Ale and the Bitter. This IPA is maltier, and has a much stronger hop flavor and aroma than our pale ale. A strong alcohol content and a generous amount of hops were need in these beers so they would survive the long trips from England to the troops in India.
