This whimsically named brew can put you off your guard, but beware! The alcohol is strong and could have you singing the “Ode to Joy” after the first pint. Bocks are a family of beers that originated in Germany. They are brewed at above average strength to celebrate the coming of spring. Our Maibock is brewed with German pilsner malt and noble hops for authenticity. The flavor is sweet and malty but that dries into a satisfying crescendo that leaves the palate anxious for more. (For you classical music fans wondering about the third “B”, after the third pint of this brew, you won’t need Brahms’ Lullaby.)
