RateBeer.com -- Correct 5 Seasons GFY IIPA5 Seasons GFY IIPADescription: An Imperial IPA that was brewed with two-row pale malt and additions of Weyermann's CaraRed and light Munich as well as Dingemanns roasted wheat (to aid in head retention) and aromatic malt. Six different hops were used in the kettle, and the beer was dry hopped with three varieties. This delicious brew has a definite alcohol presence going head-to-head with hop bitterness and flavor. Kraeusen from a Barleywine was used for conditioning. A pleasing dryness follows the alcohol and hop character, and a lingering malt flavor and aroma dominate the finish after the hops subside.
