We brew this classic pilsner-style beer as they do in Cologne, Germany. Using ale yeast instead of lager yeast to infuse a fruity character. Addition of cranberry yeilds a crimson tint and subtle tartness that mingles with the fuitiness of the yeast and the mild bitterness of the Crystal hops.
