For Goose Island’s 18th anniversary we brewed a big, bold American Extra Special Bitter. This beer has a full-bodied malt character, but for hop flavor and aroma, we infused it with 18 pounds of whole Cascade and Glacier hops. To really bring out an herbal fragrance and full palate hop flavor, we dry hopped the beer with an additional 18 pounds of whole and pellet hops.
