Buzzards Bay Brewing’s Alt is the South Coast’s take on a German classic. Brewed with copious amounts of German malts and hops, our Alt is a well-balanced copper hued old-world ale. Like all Alts, ours toes the line between two worlds. It’s brewed with an ale yeast, but it is treated like a lager. It is fermented and cellared at a colder temperature, for a longer time than most ales. The result is a clean, drinkable beer with a very light and warming estery aroma that accents the earthy Hallertau hops added late in the boil. We hope you enjoy our Alt as the weather turns colder.
