RateBeer.com -- Correct Coors EisbockCoors Eisbock

Description:
Eisbock was a spirited, full-bodied amber beer, handcrafted of a pale bock recipe popular throughout Europe for Springtime celebrations. It was the first offering in a new seasonal line produced by Coors Brewing Company. Eisbock was brewed in the style of the German Maibocks, producing a paler bock with less hop bitterness and a flavorful, full body that is easier to drink than many American bocks. Carefully brewed with an imported amber malt that was custom-roasted to Coors' exact specifications and with lots of imported German hops, Eisbock was slowly fermented and aged in ice cold cellars.

Eisbock was introduced March 1994 and discontinued May 1994. The alcohol content was 5.75% by volume.

Brewer: Coors Brewing Company (MillerCoors)
Style: Heller Bock
