Old Familiar Barley Wine is our latest foray into the big beer category. Clocking in at 8.3%, its a great smooth sipping beer. Old Familiar is an authentic barley wine made from malt like all beer, but with the alcoholic strength of a wine. Its malty body is nicely balanced with English northern brewer hops added to the boil and an extra hop addition of kent goldings in the fermenter.
