Description:
One of the special barrel-aged versions, aged in Buffalo Trace straight bourbon whiskey barrels. A strong and dark wheat wine style ale. Brewed with 50 percent malt and 50 percent wheat; including German chocolate and caramel wheat and Munich malt; spiced with four hop varities (57 IBU), and fermented clean with the Chico yeast strain. Unfiltered and dry hopped. Deceivingly light, yet tremendously flavorful.
A gewurztraminer and Syrah-Cab version were also released.
