Our next available specialty beer is the Belgian Black Ale. This beer has been modeled after Unibroues Chamblay Noir from Canada. You will notice the color is almost as dark as a stout. This comes from the chocolate and black malt as well as the addition of Belgian candi sugar. This beer is full bodied with a fruity complexity from the yeast and soft flavors from the roasted malts. The hop profile was kept low so that the sweetness of the malt really shines. The alcohol level is high although you wouldn’t know it from the smooth finish of this beer.
