Si presenta ambrata dai riflessi ramati, ed è una birra di importanza storica, in quanto rivisita una ricetta risalente al 1600, tempo in cui in molte zone d’Europa ancora si usava aromatizzare le birre con il “gruyt”, una miscela di piante e spezie, in seguito sostituita definitivamente dal luppolo.
Nella Febbre Alta, oltre a una piccola percentuale di luppolo, intervengono 16 differenti piante nella struttura aromatica.
Ne deriva una birra intensa sotto tutti i punti di vista, dal carattere forte e dai sentori erbacei e balsamici.
