Originally intended to be an occasional beer, we were surprised at the demand for this strong dark ale and so decided to brew it on a regular basis. The full bodied malty character is all down to the huge amounts of crystal malt used. Northdown and First Gold hops compliment this to produce an old style ale that is in our opinion… just too damn drinkable!
