Aviator Amber Lager was originally made exclusively for Mike Ashford's McGarvey's Restaurant in Annapolis, Maryland. The beer is a European Export style. The rich malty flavor is gently balanced with fine, delicate hops. Two-row Pale, Munich, Caramel 20 and 40 lovibond malts are used in this brew. Aviator is fermented at 48F and then at 56F. The beer is then lagered at 31 degrees for 4 weeks before filtration. Brewer: Old Dominion Brewing Co.
