Not quite as explosive as a western double IPA, this one nonetheless packs an impressive punch both in malty background and upfront hop presence. Were it not for the richness of the 100% English Marris Otter base malt, this beer would be all about the signature Centennial Hops. Instead expect citrusy grapefruit, and lesser mint and pine hops flavors to combine with the roasty notes of the base malt and the minor chocolate notes of the cara-munich malt.
