RateBeer.com -- Correct Alpine Beer Company Chez MonmeeAlpine Beer Company Chez Monmee

Description:
A Belgian Lambic non-barrel aged version of Alpine’s Chez Moneiux Kriek Lambic, which brewer Pat McIllhenney has named Chez Monmee. Instead of barrel aging, Pat added the beer and cherries into a small stainless steel fermentor and let it age. Generous amounts of the tart montmorency cherry were added after 12 months of aging. Sour from lactic and acetic acids produced from special wild yeasts. A delicious tart, sour treat.

Brewer: Alpine Beer Company (CA)
Style: Sour Ale
