Strawberries acquired locally from our neighbors at AM FOG and hand picked at Critzer Family Farm in Afton and Crozet’s Chiles Orchard were added to this brew during primary fermentation. The faint kiss of fruit the strawberries lend to this otherwise-traditional Hefeweizen beer is a subtle complement to the spicy flavors created by the Bavarian yeast strain. 19 IBUs.
